My Motorised Blinds aren't workingProper charging and maintenance are essential to ensure they function smoothly and have a long lifespan. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to charge and maintain motorised blinds: Charging Motorised Blinds: Battery-Powered Motorised Blinds: Most motorised blinds use rechargeable batteries. Here’s how to charge them: 1. Locate the Battery Pack: The battery pack is usually hidden within the blind motor. Connect the Charger: Use the charger provided by the manufacturer. Plug the charger into the battery pack and then into a power outlet. This is a usually a Micro USB connector. 2. Charging Time: Charging times vary by model but typically range from 3 to 8 hours. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for specific charging times. 3. Indicator Lights: Many battery packs have indicator lights that show when the battery is fully charged. A green flashing light when charging and solid green light when full. No warranty will apply if blinds have been left to go 100% flat and battery will not take charge. Blind will beep and flash red when they get to 10% Capacity. It is your responsibility to keep them charged. Tips for Efficient Charging: Charge the batteries when they are low to avoid interruptions in operation. Avoid overcharging by unplugging the charger once the battery is fully charged.
